It’s a wrap at our house with Black History Month it was super fun wish there was a parade or event that we would have gone to Maybe next year since I hear there’s big celebrations in the East Coast.
This is the February Wall of art soon this will all be coming down and new things will be going up. Which make me wonder… How do you store your children’s artwork? I figured I’d keep it all in a plastic container but any ideas or advice would be great!
We also used a Toilet paper roll and contact paper. We didn’t have any cool confetti stuff so we made our own with tiny punches (trains and cars) and the handy dandy sticker maker! we then just added glitter and I let Little man arrange them on the contact paper. I added another layer of contact paper since he was going to be looking thru it I didn’t want glitter to land in his eye. I then took some more contact paper and and just stuck it on to the TP roll. Oh and the most important part was letting Little man explore with markers They always end up everywhere so we only get them out once in a while. In this case to color our TP roll.
He wanted to make it stay on his nose but that didn’t work
This is what it looks like inside .
And as if my kids aren’t crazy enough here is Little Lady rocking her “I’m going to the gym” look aka “hot mess”
My mom got her these cool leg warmers but they were a little to tight to sit above her knees. I learned my lesson already once she was wearing socks that were a bit tight and it created a dark line right were the tight spot was and its been a good 3 months and its still there Doctor said it would be there for at least a year ugh! So ya the gym look this is what I come up with when i’m bored and we want to play 🙂 My husband thinks i’m crazy but that’s ok
