Sometimes I feel like I have to explain to people what it is I do. Many feel that being a stay at home mom is easy. I'm not complaining but hey I'm not super woman.
It was never my dream to stay home and quit my job I love making my own money BUT I love being home with the kiddos too.
I am by no means the most organized I admit but I try to stay on top of things by the end of the night the dishes are done the living room toys are put in their place and we all have clean pjs to go to sleep in.
Little man is very helpful in making me work harder I say he's just encouraging the weight to fade He follows after me and everything I just put in its place can be moved in the next second. He enjoys diggin in our trash and even more sweeping the floor!
Little lady well she's slowly becoming mobile and her ability to grab things is on point.
The kids are growing and now playing together which gives me a couple minutes to myself whether it be watching some TV or checking emails online.
So while I wish I could have my eye on them every second... trust me I try, I am beginning to explain to others mostly family that I was probably doing something else FOR THEM at the time something got messed up or if they are crying in the background of a phone call with them!
I never ask for help but darn it I guess I will today.
Hubby I'm so glad your feeling much better and I don't want to put much on you but will it kill you to call on me if say little lady had a crayon in her mouth. You know those crayons little man colors with. Or if little man is climbing up on the walker again just holla please! You're normally on top of things and I understand you're tired from work but hey call on me.
Little man please cut me some slack I don't want to have to leave you with 2 toys to play with I know you have one small container full lets try to put them all back in their place please!?! Oh and whats with messing with the DVDS you never did that as a baby why now?
& Little lady i know you are teething bad I get that but sticking random things in your mouth well isn't safe and waking up at all times of the night is killing me. Lets try to sleep in at least please?
So didn't mean to vent but I just needed to voice these things to someone!
In other news I found the time to find peace and made a couple of these for little man's friends! I got the great idea and template from our new friends over at Ucreate! check out their blog so crafty!!!

I still haven't made the tags but that's the easiest part.
I hope u get some rest I'm sure as days go by everything gets easier n we do need help there are days we can't function 100% :))

I felt like I had to explain that to people for years and they still didn't get it. Being an at home mom was more exhausting than working a 40 hour week; that is, if you're doing it correctly. That means you don't sit in front of the television all day long eating candy. You're chasing and engaging little minds and that takes work.
