Little mans hair is so long now that it sponges out to a fro every morning yesterday was the biggest his head looked bigger than his body but i guess it was my fault since i did nothing to his hair.
It's been a constant discussion when my parent's visit, that we should cut Little man's hair.
My husbands wishes were to not cut it until he was one so I agreed.
Now little man is 19 months! almost 2!!! and still no cut. I think it's beginning to get to me because I see him sweat and I have to do the styling. The Hubs keeps saying hes gonna get it braided but still hasn't happened.
I'm a little concerned with getting it braided for the following reasons
- He screams when i comb his hair in the shower and it's not even tangled!
- He hardly lets me style his hair he moves around and cries for days
- I've had my hair braided and i seriously had a headache for 2 days
- my husband says hes never had his hair braided - so he can't relate
whats a mom to do? ugh!
I think we need a compromise quick either a cut or ... braiding...
Anyways
Little man has been very creative lately. I truly enjoy this time with him. Altho I must admit there are times where I try to have him do things PERFECT.. hes almost 2 I get that but I dunno guess I just want him to be his best.
Here he is coloring a bunny pic we got offline surprisingly i got it off a religious website which I've never done but am open to. I was shocked they associated Bunnys with Easter. I still remember my grandfather going off on us one year because we made Easter all about the eggs and of course the Bunny!!! I plan to continue to celebrate both ways and teach the kids the important parts as well as the fun stuff I loved doing. and coloring pictures was one of themPS little man is doing great holding crayons now
Here we played with foam Eggs again my sticker machine came in handy who knew i could turn foam into stickers also so i cut foam scraps and had little man decorate eggs. The adhesive was pretty strong but Not sticky!!!! so thankful for the sticker maker
and the march wall cute right?
Have a great weekend everyone!
p.s. 70 days til the big move!!!!

I think his hair is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteMy little guy had a major mess of wild hair and I refused to cut it until he was almost 2. At that point he couldn't take it anymore cuz he was always smacking himself in the face to get the hair out of it. Poor kid.
your kiddo is too cute. My husband always wants to cute my girls hair but Im pro grower. lol. Found you on MBC and following. Also a navy wifey raising biracial children. Take care and god bless.
ReplyDeleteHis hair is just too cute. And your March wall is getting there as well. I think all your activities with him are adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteCute pics!! :)
ReplyDeleteaww im feel so bad for him if he does get it braided!! its gonna hurt!!!! :(
ReplyDeleteI think his hair suits him - but if it annoys him when it gets tangled, then I would recommend cutting it. My head hurts like crazy if I have braids.
ReplyDeleteI personally am all about hair being easy to manage. Whatever is the easiest for you and little one, should be your choice. Just my thoughts :)
ReplyDeleteHi , that's a cute son you've got there ! His hair is lovely too!
ReplyDeleteBraiding is painful. What to do ?
You braid it for him , softly, to prevent pain. Cheers.
