New Jersey has been interesting but i don't think we were ever prepared for the weather... and they tell us we haven't even really hit summer temps YIKES! Needless to say this momma (n the kiddos too.. I think) miss the beautiful sunny CONSISTENT California weather. The weather here is so crazy one day we are begging to be naked because it's so hot and the next it's raining and out come the umbrellas. I can't keep up nor plan much when the weather is crazy. I won't lie little man and little lady have been deprived of all things crafty because this momma is so gloomy and sad wishing to be in California BUT LIFE MUST GO ON.
Since the weather has been so crazy hot here the kids have enjoyed their 1st kiddie pool. They even got to enjoy it at 8pm (i guess this is a plus) this would never be possible in Cali.

While I was going crazy taking pictures I noticed my kids playing TOGETHER!
It's amazing how much they have grown little man is just couple months shy of 2yrs old. He's a big boy now. We started potty training so far not good. I think he still isn't too comfortable to let us know.
Little lady is now 9 months! She started to let go and has taken more then 3 steps all on her own. She is going to be very independent we see the DIVA status beaming thru her little self.
I still have lots to share with you all. I am very happy our desktop is back up and running. I'm sure this week will be catch up week :) so expect lots of pictures and back tracking.
For starters here is our trip to Sea world right before we left San Diego!!! it was a first for the kids so of course i went camera crazy.

All i thought when we was this was PETA lol it was real!
and the most amazing thing we saw im gonna say it was a bison the kids LOVED it. it was eating. look at the size of it tho compared to the kiddos.
and to show you how HOT it was look at our red cheeks little lady and i were sweating even in the shade .
We still have much to see jersey can be beautiful when the weather cooperates. It's amazing how much farm land there is.
Spanish word of the week : baño (bahn-yo)
i.e. ¿Donde esta el baño?
Where is the bathroom/restroom?
Happy Monday everyone!

ReplyDeleteaawww...looks y'all had a wonderful time!! Hubby and I loved California the whole tme we were there, but it's crazy expensive to buy a home there!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pics. I never think of New Jersey having farmland. We are not moving to a different state-but in Texas 2 hours away and you have a different landscape. I hope you can get excited about your new home, like we are trying to do!
ReplyDeleteHey! You are in my neck of the woods lady! welcome to Jersey!
