Bilingual Resource- Little Pim

Little Pim has taken over our home!

As a mom eagerly wanting her children to be bilingual, I like to try a variety of products or ideas that will help in the process of gaining a Spanish word or two.

After visiting the Toy Fair NYC and meeting the awesome team of Little Pim I was sent a DVD of their Spanish program.

Little Pim is a foreign language learning series for young children. It offers a combination of animation and real kids to teach children everyday words and phrases.

What I loved about Little Pim when I previewed it at their Booth at the Toy Fair was how easy it was to understand whether the person watching was an infant or an adult. The language is very clear and the animation is way to cute!

I decided to let the kids view the program for the very first time one afternoon and was surprised how many questions they had after watching. Little Pim created a conversation between myself and the kids. They wanted to know why the girl in the clip was sad and I would repeat ella esta triste... much like Little Pim except I'd add my reason.

The series is made to be watched in clips. It worked better for us to watch clips throughout the day and week. Repetition also made learning easier.

We took learning with Little Pim beyond the series. As we spent the next week watching certain clips of the series, we took Little Pim cutouts around our home to practice more of our Spanish.

The kids truly enjoy watching Little Pim and his friends. I strongly recommend this Bilingual resource to any family or parent looking to teach a foreign language to their children.

Little Pim is available in 10 different languages and includes videos, apps, music books, flashcards and more!
Languages: Spanish, Italian, Chinese, German, English, French, Japanese, Arabic, Russian and Hebrew.
