Johnson's Baby Cares: An open letter to my kids #WeCare

Little Man and Little Lady,

Ever since you were both tiny babies, Daddy and I would wake up in the middle of the night just to check if you were ok. We worry because you are our great accomplishments! We treasure you like nothing else in this world! When it comes to you both, we try to make the best out of every situation. 

My favorite memories with you will always be bath time. I love to see you both play in the water and splash around in the bubbles. When you are having so much fun and are so happy we forget everything that may not be ok.

Little man Bath time wasn’t as fun when you were a baby. You had such sensitive skin that even water felt like it was burning on you. After so many different doctor appointments and different medication we finally found something that made you feel better and eventually control the patches and scabs your little body had.

Little Lady, lately it seems like you rather walk around with no clothes on for the same reasons. We learned that what worked for your brother, didn’t for you. Although it’s still a challenge to control it, when you are in the water nothing else matters.

Your mild case of eczema has been a monster at times but we refuse to let that ruin our fun times. 

Please know how lucky you both are that Daddy and I have the means and love to care for you. Some families aren't as lucky to have the right things to care for their babies. Never take for granted what seem to be necessities. It is those things that mean the world to others, who don't have them. Always remember that what we do for you is for your best interest and because we love you!
