One of our most anticipated stops on our California GUBcation was CARSLAND at Disney California Adventure!
We had just visited Disneyland Resorts last May and we knew what was to come this year would be amazing!
While There are 3 awesome rides in CARSLAND we were only able to do 2 because the kiddos are still very small. Uncle M(My littlest brother) came along to enjoy Disney with us.
First up was Tow Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.
The kids totally loved this one. While we waited in line there was all kinda of car plates, parts, and even signage with Mater memorabilia. We got the total Junkyard feel. It was such a cute ride but watch out for those fast turns they get you going! Overall a great new addition to Disney California Adventure (DCA) rides for little ones.
Next up was Luigi’s Flying Tires at Casa Della Tires.
I loved that the cast members were just as excited as we were to experience the ride. It is by far one of the coolest rides at DCA. The inside of Casa Della Tires was just like a tire museum. We learned that the outer tire of the ride is actually like a balloon. It is an inflated piece that we had to step over. This allowed the tire to glide over the air with us in it. We also learned while standing in line that we were to control the direction the tire travels with our body movement. The Cast Member explaining the process was very helpful and easy to understand.
The ride we didn’t get a chance to experience was Radiator Springs Racers. From the looks of the lines we knew it was an amazing ride. I have already been on something a little similar at Disney World. I know I will be back to ride it next time we visit.
Lastly, the kids were able to take pictures with the awesome characters from CARS. McQueen and Red the fire engine were just as magical as we anticipated. We missed Mater but he was out there! They talked moved their eyes and car parts. It was an experience both kids loved.
We had the most amazing time at CARSLAND. Stay tuned to see what other memories we made at DCA with part 2 of our GUBcation at DCA.
Disclosure: I was provided with complementary passes to Disney California Adventure (DCA) by DisneyPR. I was not compensated for this post. The above as always are my true and honest opinions.
