I am beyond excited to be attending LATISM'12 this year and to be sponsored by Johnson & Johnson.
I am very fortunate to be able to work with this amazing brand that believes in me, the blog, and that I will be a good representative for their brand.
It was just last year that the whole conference planning and attending was a big overwhelming. I was shy but excited to step into this new world.
If I could go back and give my old self 5 ways to prepare for LATISM'12 this is what I would say(in no particular order:
1-Update profiles, business cards, and have an about page on the blog!
2-Follow the Hashtag #LATISM12 & make twitter friends! Tell at least 5 people that you want to meet them. The truth is it gets chaotic so if you want to meet friends let them know and plan to attend a session together.
3-Look at the agenda - Plan what you want to do but also make note of the breaks.
4- Bring comfortable shoes! There is a lot of standing and walking (climbing stairs too)
5- Carry your chargers at all times! You will be busy on your phones/tablets/laptops!
