Blogher 2012- New York City
This year I was fortunate to pay my way to Blogher'12.
After learning so much last year at Blogher'11 I knew it was a must to attend in NYC.
The conference started with a bang when I was asked to be a Pampers Baby Board Member earlier in the week. I was beyond honored to join an amazing brand and the fabulous bloggers in their board group.
I had the chance of meeting a few of them at our dinner and enjoyed Wicked while i was in the city.
This year's highlights included a video chat with President Obama (I missed it sadly)
Martha Stewart and Katie Couric were keynote speakers during lunch! I was so excited to hear Martha speak about blogging! Issa Rae aka Awkward Black Girl and Youtube star spoke during a session. She is just as funny as in her videos. Disney Junior help a breakfast where we learned about the great things coming to Disney Junior including a 2nd season of DocMcstuffin and Sofia the first! And I was asked to speak at Brunchalicious The Blogalicous Brunch!
The Expo was huge this year or maybe it seemed that way because it was in different areas of the conference I was a big overwhelmed I would have preferred it to be in one place like in san diego I know didn't visit all the sponsors. I did get awesome pictures with the characters this year like Dole banana and Lorax. I also had my 2nd s'mores in life once again at Hershey's amazing suite I felt like i was camping in there it was awesome! Martha Stewart and Staples had a booth where I sat in a desk that inspired me to want to organize my desk at home of course using all MS products!
The best part for me was getting to see my bloggy and PR friends. It's rare to see each other face to face but we look forward to seeing each other during conference events like Blogher. I am thankful for all the amazing friendships blogging and social media have brought me. I can't wait to see you all again!
See you next year Blogher!
