With week after week of snow out here in Jersey having the hubs cook up his beef chili recipe is a must! It’s hearty and definitely keeps us warm not to mention super easy because it’s made in a slow-cooker!
With most of the ingredients on hand this is a meal we enjoy at least twice a month. The hubs makes a big batch and you know what they say reheating always sets the flavors in so we freeze this meal to enjoy later it’s a win win if you ask me! Here is what you’ll need to make this slow cooker recipe!
Ingredients | Yields 2 family meals- 5 bowls per meal | Prep 10 minutes
-2lbs of ground beef
-1 sliced beef kielbasa sausage
-2 green peppers chopped
-1/2 a large onion hopped
-2 McCormick Chili Original seasoning
-1 can Diced Tomato
-1 can small Tomato Paste
-2 cans Dark Red Kidney Beans

Let’s make this Beef Chili Recipe!
1- Mix one Chili seasoning packet in with your ground beef to season.
2- Place your seasoned ground beef into your slow cooker.
3- Add your diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Do not drain your tomatoes.
4-Add your kidney beans- 1 can drained the other undrained. Add your chopped green peppers and onions.
5- Add your last chili seasoning mix and the beef kielbasa.
6- Cover and cook for 5-6 hours.
TIP: Have a spicy craving? Add some Frank’s Red Hot sauce for a great spicy kick!
7- Serve and enjoy!
